What it is
An AEUHAZ violation may be challenged within 30 days of the Notice of Violation's issue date. Recognised grounds include: the Certificate of Correction was approved before the AEUHAZ violation was issued, the OATH summons was dismissed, the summons was downgraded to a lesser violation at hearing, or the penalty was issued to a one-to-four-family dwelling on or after May 15, 2022.
