FAQ

What is a lucky number?+

A number that is easy to say and remember: round numbers (…000), repeating digits (…7777), straights (…1234), pairs and mirrors (…2288, …1221) and lucky 7s — plus numbers that are lucky in Chinese, like endings in 8 (fortune) or 168. It works exactly like any other US number; the difference is how easy it is to remember.

How are prices set?+

By the number itself: the rarer and easier to remember, the higher. Diamond (five in a row, a full straight like 234-5678, a million number) from $588; Gold ($88–$388) includes …777, …7777, round thousands and four in a row; Silver ($28–$68) includes straights like …1234, pairs, mirrors and round hundreds. A number is priced by its best pattern. One price per number — no monthly or activation fee. NY sales tax is added at checkout.

How do I use the number after buying it?+

We email you the account number and transfer PIN (they are never shown on the website). At your carrier — T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Mint, Lyca and others — choose to transfer (port in) an existing number and enter them. No plan yet? Visit our store and we will put the number on a plan for you.

How long do I have to transfer it?+

30 days from purchase. We email reminders before the deadline. After 30 days the number goes into parking: transfer it or prepay parking (3 months $8.88 or 1 year $28.88, plus tax) within 7 days, otherwise it may be released. If a transfer fails or the PIN is rejected, contact us and we sort it out with the provider.

Can I get a refund?+

If we cannot get the number, your card is never charged — we only place a hold and release it. Once the number is bought and the transfer details are sent to you, it is yours and non-refundable. You need a SinoConnection account (the same one as our travel eSIM store, email or Google sign-in); no SSN or credit check.
